Editor,
Ridgefield is the fastest growing city in Washington state. New and improved school buildings are needed to meet the demands of this burgeoning population.
Safe, modern, uncrowded school buildings are essential to a healthy, thriving community. They add value to the entire city by increasing property values and attracting new businesses. They provide a safer and healthier environment for students, which can also improve student learning outcomes. New buildings are also more energy efficient and environmentally sustainable, thereby reducing district operating costs.
On April 23, invest in Ridgefield’s children and vote YES on Bond Propositions 10 and 11.
